Responsive, Optimised, Beautiful, Intuitive
Bespoke & Complete Web Design For Small Businesses
Life doesn’t fit into a neat box identical to someone else’s and therefore neither should your business. Each website should be as individual as a fingerprint. So we take a completely tailored approach, working closely with you to ensure every aspect fits your requirements and the personality of your company. We will translate your objectives into solutions - whether those be around increasing your visibility, encouraging people to buy or get in touch or launch a new product, and create a website that helps you achieve your objectives. We believe in web design that knocks your clients’ socks off!
We believe in bespoke web design.
What does a great website look like? Take a look…
-
Your website needs to keep your reader entertained and interested. The longer someone stays on your website (and yes it can be measured) the higher your Google ranking. Therefore plenty of beautiful and engaging content is essential. We can help with both content and imagery.
-
The best brands are memorable and therefore everything you do or say needs to reflect your brand; everything you publish - photos, words, logo, website - EVERYTHING
-
Is everything your client needs to know clearly found on your website. Or does your client spend more time trying to figure out how to use the site than actually seeing reasons to work with you? Do you have buttons and links in places that mean people are more likely to click and send you a message?
-
Your site might look fantastic on pc or laptop but how does it appear on mobile? Websites don’t usually just adjust themselves to look right on both. You should check and compare both.
-
When working out how to optimise your site for search engines, you should know what you’re trying to achieve. If your business relies significantly on organic traffic from search engines then it needs to be well optimised using various different methods.
-
Does your audience feel compelled to message you after reading content on your website? Is it easy for them to do so? What is their experience like?
The Web Design Process
The Design Consultation
When you’ve decided to get your website built with us, the first thing we’ll do is meet, either in person in my design studio or by Zoom. We’ll discuss the purpose of your site - is it just a shop window that you’ll send people to? Or do you need organic reach on Google? What information needs to be on it? Will you use it to display goods or services? We’ll talk about your audience. Who are you trying to reach? Where do they hang out digitally? Is your information mostly visual? Will you need images, video and/or lots of copy? And your brand - what look and feel does it have? Is it contemporary, corporate or warm? What functionality do you need? A booking system? A newsletter and email list? A shop? And we’ll discuss expectations - what you need from us and vice versa - in order to build the website and going forward. What level of search engine optimisation is needed? At this point, we’ll be able to give you an accurate quotation of costs, depending on the complexity of the site and additional functionality.
The Design And Build
You’ll go away with a list of things that we need to start the design and build and once we have them we’ll get going - this is the exciting part. Once we’ve got the structure in place, you’ll get a password which will allow you to view the site as it develops and give feedback, as well as understand additional content that you need to provide. We’ll work closely together at this point and you’ll have Whatsapp access to us to get changes and content to us quickly. We’ll buy or transfer your domain and make sure you have a custom email so that your emails go into inboxes not junk boxes.
The Review and Amend
Once the website has reached the stage where it needs detailed feedback from you, we meet again to run though the whole thing, honing and tweaking. You’ll go away with a list of things we need and we’ll know what needs to be done to finish.
Once these things are done, we’ll assign the site to your ownership, retaining admin rights so that we can make the final tweaks. And then, you can go LIVE with your new shiny website.
Keywords and Education
The final meeting has three stages. The first is to agree your keywords for optimisation purposes; to agree what level of support you need going forward; and finally for us to teach you basic updates such as adding content, if you have decided to do that. You get a month’s FREE support so you don’t feel that you’ve been thrown in at the deep end.
And finally…
And finally, we optimise your site so that it can be found on search engines, make any final tweaks, connect it to Google and other search engines, and you’re ready to go. Share away. ENJOY!
